What we collect

• Account details: your email address and password (stored encrypted).
• Profile details: name, age, bio, sports you play, skill level, and photos.
• Location: the town or city you enter, saved as an approximate point so we can show distances.
• Photos you upload to your profile.
• Activity: swipes, matches, messages, games you host or join, and reports you file.

How we use it

To build your profile, suggest nearby athletes who match your filters, deliver messages and match alerts, keep the community safe, and run SportSwipe Plus subscriptions.

What others see

Other signed-in members can see your profile, photos, sports, level, and approximate distance. They never see your exact coordinates, email address, or who you swiped left on.

Who we share with

Stripe processes subscription payments and receives your email address and payment details — we never see or store your card number. Our hosting and database provider stores your data securely on our behalf. We do not sell your data.

Notifications

If you allow browser notifications, we store the notification address your browser gives us so we can alert you to new matches and messages. You can turn this off in Settings or in your browser.

Deleting your data

Delete your account from Settings and we remove your profile, photos, matches, and messages. Some records may be kept briefly where needed for safety or legal reasons.
